Salvatore Dario Spanò
Salvatore Dario Spanò, a renowned Italian pianist and educator, served as the director of the Conservatorio statale di musica di Mantova "Lucio Campiani" and currently holds the positions of vice-director and piano professor.
He has won numerous awards in international competitions, including the "M. Canals" competition in Barcelona, Spain; the "Città di Catanzaro" competition; the "Città di Senigallia" competition; the "V. Bellini" competition; and the Pretoria International Competition in South Africa.
He has performed with orchestras in various cities across Italy and has toured extensively in Japan, the United States, Australia, Russia, France, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Israel, Croatia, Sweden, and Denmark, earning high praise from both the public and critics.
He has been invited to record for several programs, including RAI, RTVE, Radio Zagreb, and Radio Koper, and has produced recordings with Empire Master Sound and CDs with Sipario Dischi.
He regularly holds piano masterclasses in Japan, Spain, Greece, Denmark, Poland, Croatia, the United States, and China, and has been invited to serve as a jury member for major international piano competitions in Madrid, Ankara, Darmstadt, Andorra, Lamezia Terme, Grosseto, and Barletta. He has also collaborated with artists such as Luis Álva, Paolo Montarsolo, Elena Obraztsova, and Nicola Martinucci.
