Maxim Mogilevsky

Maxim Mogilevsky is a renowned Russian pianist and educator. Born into a musical family, he graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and studied under the piano virtuoso Martha Argerich. As a highly skilled performer, he made his debut with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 13. Since then, he has performed with world-class orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, appearing at prestigious global venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. In the field of piano education, Maxim Mogilevsky currently serves as a professor in the Piano Department of the New England Conservatory of Music in the United States and has been appointed as a distinguished professor at Zhejiang University of Media and Communications in China. He possesses extensive experience as a jury member for international competitions, having been a judge for the piano section of the 17th International Tchaikovsky Competition, the first and second Rachmaninoff International Music Competitions, as well as notable contests such as the Lang Lang Piano Competition and the Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition in China. His artistic insight and rigorous professional standards have established him as a highly respected authority in the international piano community.
